In this update of Homer’s “The Odyssey,” set in the 1930’s Depression-era deep South, three convicts–the garrulous silver-tongued Everett, the sweet and simple Delmar and the maladjusted Pete–escape from a chain gang and embark on the adventure of a lifetime. They set out to pursue their freedom and the promise of sharing in the division of a fortune in buried treasure. Alex Browning is among a group of high school students readying themselves for a trip to Europe. When he suddenly has a premonition that their airplane will crash, he screams out in panic to warn the others, but instead he is thrown off of the plane. Alex is luckily one of seven students who skip the flight — getting off the aircraft moments before an explosion rips through the cabin, decimating the plane in midair. The year is 2020 and NASA has made another giant leap for mankind- successfully landing a team of astronauts on Mars. Shyam comes to Mumbai to apply for a job. But there is another applicant for the same job – Anuradha Panikkar. Storyline:
